Maarten De Ceulaer. Mutation.
‘The pieces in this series look like they weren’t made by hands, but have grown to their present form organically. They might be the result of a mutation in cells, or the result of a chemical or nuclear reaction. Perhaps it’s a virus or bacteria that has grown dramatically out of scale. The Mutation pieces make you look at furniture in a different way. (by Honey)

Here are the final photos from the Ministry of Sound D&AD Brief. Stripping design back to a simple form, broadcasting the message quickly and effectively. Very pleased with the end result, good job team!

The Tree of Life
The ‘Tree of Life poster from a distance looks like a cross section of a tree trunk out. A closer look reveals, however, that it is not the black circles to wood rings, but for hundreds of different silhouettes of animals. The project aims to draw attention to the deforestation of the rainforest and the consequent destruction of the habitat of the animals.
